The airport is located in the southeast section of the country, one mile south of the village of Tori, 60 miles north of Kandahar, and 205 miles south southwest of Kabul
The airfield is in a wide valley northeast to southwest. Terrain elevation is up to 8400 feet within 10 miles. Estimate that there is excellent natural drainage.
